Unabomber Replacing The Poker Legend In Party Poker

The Party Poker Premier League IV is set to begin in just a few days and news has been released that poker pro Phil "Unabomber" Laak will be replacing Doyle Brunson in the star studded event. Phil "Unabomber" Laak will join other poker pros like Roland de Wolfe, Luke Schwartz, Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Rousso, David Benyamine, Tony G, Phil Hellmuth, JC Tran and Yevgeniy Timoshenko at the event.

As the pokernewsdaily reported yesterday, Doyle Brunson had to pull out of the event since he had to undergo dental surgery on Monday. The poker legend has decided to take a break from poker to recover from surgery as well as rest up and be ready for the WSOP. Doyle Brunson will be missing several events including the Party Poker Premier League IV. On the other hand, the Phil Laak is excited about the chance to play in one of the biggest buy-in tournaments in the world, but he is also aware of the stakes. "This is the most money I have ever wagered against the toughest field I have ever faced,Collectively, my opponents have over $45 million in tournament winnings, so this will be the best ride ever." Phil Laak said during the announcement.
