I agree with most of your strategy. Although I don’t like how you throw away your low pocket pairs. A better way of playing those would be to see the flop with any reasonable bet. After flop, no set no bet. Good chance of a huge payout if you flop your set; which should happen a little over 10% of the time. What do you think?

just like you’re sitting around calling and checking and then an ace comes on the river and you start betting like hell. everybody’s gonna fold cause they know you’ve got something good involving aces.
yes, that would most likely put someone on a flush for me.
Flatting the turn and then leading the river with the flush makes it really easy to put you on a flush in my opinion. I see something like KJ (made 2 pair on the river check -calling). I’m sure the guy you’re playing against isn’t that sophisticated, but I think you need to check-raise the turn if you have any chance of getting more money off him. plus there’s so many potential scare cards possible on the river for many of his potential holdings. i duno just my opinion.

You should have reraised him on the turn or call, check and hope he bet out on the river.
