No limit Texas hold’em is pretty much what it sounds like it is.  In no limit Texas hold’em, there are no predetermined rules and maximums placed on betting amounts.  Most major poker tournaments, both in brick and mortar casinos, and in online poker rooms, are no limit hold’em games.  This is because no limit games get a lot of publicity, both for the players and the hosting gaming room.
